The Fortress doorset is suitable for warehouses, high-security and public areas. They are made from galvanised steel, which is powder coated to ensure corrosion resistance and durability.
Fortress frames can come folded to suit your wall type and thickness, allowing for various wall constructions, from steel-clad sheds to precast concrete applications.
Further customisation options include powder coat colours, hardware, vision, and louvre panels.

Fortress Doorset Specifications

Doorset

Max door leaf size 2900 x 1400mm.
• 100% steel, with rockwool insulation. No timber or polystyrene.
• Louvres and vision panels constructed with aluminium bead.
• Folded construction for ultimate strength.
• Available with different glazing and louvre configurations.
• Powder coated to standard Dulux and Interpon colours. Other colours available on request.
• Integral anti jemmy strip and dog bolt hinges for maximum security.
• Standard with 4 sided perimeter seal.
• Jacking screws for ease of installation.
• Heavy duty door has 1.6mm leaf and 2.0mm frame.

Glazing

All glazing is wet sealed in our factory for highest protection against water ingress.
Double glazing as standard, with 5mm toughened exterior pane and 4mm toughened interior pane.
Full range of clear, translucent, etchlite and tinted glass available.
Total IGU thickness 23mm.
Other glazing configurations available on request.

Standard Vision panel and louvre grille sizes

Louvre Grille
For doors less than 860 wide—200 x 450mm, for doors 860 or wider—360 x 560mm.

Glass height 465mm, glass width varies with door width.

Hardware Options

Hung with Parkwood Commercial Ball Bearing Butt Hinges (standard with dog bolt for security and in 304SS for corrosion resistance).
Most commercial hardware (Dormakaba, Legge, Briton, Schlage, Lockwood etc) can be used with Fortress Doorsets, however Parkwood prefer to use Entro Hardware.
Stainless steel sheet or aluminium treadplate kickplates can be fitted to Fortress door sets to prevent scratching of the door leaf powder finish.
Kickplates are available in a range of heights and to the interior, exterior or both faces.
