French Colonial Makeover

A renovation transforming a bland house into a stunning home.

Project Overview

From what started as a “Naughty Boys Home” built in the 80’s it was transformed into a lovely practical family home. With the setting of the park behind, and the layout suiting the family perfectly, they just needed an architect to turn it into a loving home, Arcline Architecture did just that.

When it came to colour and the detail that catches your eye Caroline from Caroline’s Creative Interiors was hired, she did such a great job bringing the wood and colour all together, the size of the architraves, the door styles to match in with the French Colonial look, picking the right stain for the front door to match in with the interior walls & tiles, right through to the type of handles and hardware we used.
